RAF Brize Norton, famous as the VIP's terminal, is also the "gateway" for Service personnel and their families, running a 24-hour, worldwide air travel operation which handles 180000 passengers a year. This important base, in the heart of the Cotswolds, boasts state-of-the-art air-to-air refuelling and parachute training, the most advanced fuel facility in Europe, and a unique air traffic control system dealing with morte than 100000 aircraft movements a year. It is also the home of the RAF Falcons free-fall display team.
